The Physics Geeks Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

The Physics Geeks

We gathered when the sun was about to set,
We were planning to scare the crew as a bet,
Not many were scared,
It wasn't well prepared,
Twilight touched the clouds,
We began to make sounds,
The candles were lit,
It was time to blow it,
The birthday song was sung,
Not only for the special one
But also for three other dear ones,
The cake was divided among
The friends gathered for fun,
The count started from number one,
Then began the real fun,
The physics geeks formed teams,
The enjoyment met the extremes,
The choir was successfully formed,
Each team euphorically performed,
There were songs, poetry and dance,
We all had a very good chance
To take hold of each glance,
After a few hours of amusement
When we started to leave the building
That held our physics department,
We parked ourselves in the no parking
And gathered once again for a group picture,
With a splendid feeling we headed for departure.
