The Piper Of The Necropolis

Rating: 5.0

Music
is the universal portal
it nourishes
it mollifies
it bestows an enthralling euphoria
to the commonly distressed

Conversely Music is a malignant magician
summoning the brothers
Death and Decay
the brothers laugh at man
As Plebe
Man is helplessly delicious

Look!
Ever so far
upon that crimson stained sea
amidst an opaque shale plain
on which there is a man
ever so weak

A lone man
Can be seen
Drowning
He laughs
while his master
tears him asunder

Later
same man will arise
Adorned to some
He collects fresh souls
Avoid his dark music
deftly jeweled as melodious flute

Where is the Piper?
Where Is he where?
Is he here? Is he there?
No fools he is everywhere!
The Piper
revels in sardonic despair
