The Pit Of Peril Poem by Kristina Londy

The Pit Of Peril

Rating: 4.5

Masked men circle the pit of peril
Eyes blank with darkness deceits
Lonely sole with wonderful merit
Shaded by those that weep
Ghastly gumption seeking through woodwork
Monstrous discernments clouded by ruins
Silence falling only by clockwork
True hearts beating simply by profluens
Final moments reduced to first
Wonderful words condensed into letters
Childlike glances seem all but forbidden
The hounds take over and give into thirst
