The Plant Withered And Died Poem by Juan Olivarez

The Plant Withered And Died

Rating: 4.5

The plant withered and died,
And crumbled to the ground.
And blew away in the wind,
With not even a sound.
And the seed scattered,
All over the Earth.
And though she had died,
God created rebirth.
And life went on,
Just as before,
Under God's blue skies,
Forever more.

Very symbolic of what Jesus said when a seed dies and falls to the ground, it sprouts a new plant.
