It’s easy to make if you have the knack
It’s terrific to give and better to get back
It’s priceless and free and worth the world
It’s warm and friendly and slightly curled
It crosses ages and races and times
It’s found in far of tropic climes
It’s miles away and right near you
You can tell when it isn’t true
It can change a sentence’s tone
It’s wonderful when you have your own
It’s owned by all no matter their wealth
Sometimes you’ll give one to yourself
It’s great to wear, it’s always in style
I’m talking, of course, about a smile
