If life was to be like a poem
if heart was to be lonely
life wouldn't have been unpleasant
but heart was to be tender.

You think lonely heart is bitter?

think again,
if songs were to be, only love songs
would you really love them
and if all were mauve or white
would you care to lift your head
and watch what you thought
would be something to remember.

Do you really think beauty
is the answer to everything?

For life we need hunger
we need thirst
we need a struggle
and a lust
for pain, for a long walk in the storm.
