THE POEMS AND THE SONGS

The poems and the songs
Are my soul now
I cannot abandon them
They live in me and make me live
I take them wherever I go
And they take me somewhere else
When I need to be there-

I am the songs and the poems
And the songs and the poems are me
And all that we say and play and be
Is joy and harmony in me.
