The Poems I Like Poem by ronald stroman

The Poems I Like

the poems i like:

don't have to get butt-naked,

to show me,

somewhere in the sentence

of things,

the words...

won't have any clothes on,

in the dictionary.

the poems i like:

that i really find

poetically interesting,

from their Genesis to Revelation,

can be “untitled” beautifully ugly:

if... what's inside,

is 'literally' a joy ride

to my imagination,

when my eyes touch,

and find a thoughtful poem,

thoughtfully written by Poet,

who espouses my mind,

with something knowledgeable

or un-knowledgeable,

i never knew,

i now know... the Poet thinks about

whether the ingredients

of wisdom shared,

gifted,

and delivered

by the Poet,

tasted

like peanut-butter

or cotton candy:

when “devoured” by

my curiosity.
