The Poet And The Preacher Poem by Kritanjay Sharma

The Poet And The Preacher

Rating: 0.5

Words of knowledge
In meters do muster
The force they
require
At once to cluster,
to conquer the ignorance within,
Relinquishing the experiences without

But, of the ears upon which they fall
They probably aren't heard to all
For, rare is the one to reach within
To toil today so his inner glow may win
But, alas, he wanders
and about the inconsequential he ponders
Every man, For his whim.

So, wilt today as wilted have they before
Spake today as spoken have they before
Yet, before us are they
As, before us have they been before..
