The Power Poem by Md. Moniruzzaman

The Power

Eyes can see everything
But these can’t see himself;
Hands can touch everything
But these can’t touch himself;
Ears can hear everything
But these can’t hear himself;
A tone can appreciate others
But this can’t appreciate himself.

The brain and the mind
Always busy in certain jobs of the surroundings;
But it doesn’t engage with own thoughts
Until the last moment comes;
When all the gratitude leaves him forever
And none has a single look for him.

What a life!
What a perception to life!
What a philosophy!
Men do exercise the whole life.
What a life and what a time!
I see, I can see.
