The Price He Paid Poem by Leota Campbell

The Price He Paid

Rating: 5.0

Because He was tempted in all points as we,
I have an Advocate.
Because He was despised, rejected,
I am loved.
Because His hands were pierced for me,
I place my hand in His.
Because He wore a crown of thorns,
I may wear a crown of righteousness.
Because He drank the bitter cup,
I may taste Heaven's joy.
Because the darkness covered Him.
I can see the "Way"
Because He we falsely tried,
I can know the Truth
Because He died in my place,
I can have Life
Because He suffered for my sin,
I can be forgiven,
Because He came forth from the tomb,
I have immortality.
