The Puppet Princess Of Marl Kingdom Poem by Justin Gildow

The Puppet Princess Of Marl Kingdom

I sit outside by my house
In the middle of the town
She comes with her horn
She comes with her army of puppets

She sits on a wooden stool
She plays her horn
She attracts the attention of many young children
And her army of puppets sit up, move, and dance
With the lovely yet powerful music coming from her horn

Her best loved puppet and best friend flies all around

Kururu flutters in the air
Smiling at Cornet
She then flutters around
Smiling at all the young children
And hoping and willing to be their friend

The Puppet Princess of Marl Kingdom is extremely pleased with the entire display
After she finishes playing her song
The puppets stop moving and sit down
She gets up from her wooden stool and goes over to hug the kids
She also waves to them as they leave
Kururu stays by Cornet's side and waves goodbye as well

The Puppet Princess and all her puppets then pay me a visit
I smile at Cornet and welcome her into my house
I get her something to drink
We sit at the table
Telling stories
Having a laugh while shedding a tear
She's happy to be here
And so am I
Having her here in my house
Having her here in this town
