The Purpose Poem by Joezel Jayme

The Purpose

Rating: 5.0

I didn't had the chance
to hold your hand tightly
while you're in the life of death.

I didn't had the chance
to tell you
how much I love you
until the last breath.

I didn't had those chances
but I am still here,
waiting for your love to be back.

Waiting for you in this corner
and wishing for your touch.
I am still living but
I am dead inside because
the moment you left me-
you also bring my heart.

What's the purpose of my living, when I know that you're not here beside me?

A glowing tribute paid in distress to the departed love, exquisitely penned. Thanks for sharing.

Pain and regret are often mingled with love. Beautifully written.
