The Queen's Vow Poem by Naja Joyner

The Queen's Vow

On my set you not talking to me!
You was never bout that life!
She was poppin all this but aint gone do nothing!
So, tell me who are you?
Are you the girl mad over rumors that she chose to believe? Are you the girl that so many people talk about saying that she not all that she think she is but you act like queen of the world?
Are you the girl mad over a boy that could care less about you?
No.
I know who you are. You are the girl that is so insecure in herself that she has to try to knock me off my pedestal.
Well here's a newsflash for you.
YOU CAN TALK ALL YOU WANT. YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT BUT THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE THE FACT THAT WITH OR WITH OUT YOU AND YOUR LITTLE FAMILY. I AM ME.
This is my oath to you. Right here right now. You all stand witness to this.
I vow to stay being me.
I vow to ignore the insignificant little girls that have no life.
I vow that I will always do whatever the hell I want.
I vow that I will not waste my time on something that will not do anything but annoy me.
This is my oath to you.
This princess is now gone.
And now before you is a queen.
