The Question Unanswered

Rating: 2.0

Where is mind!
Where is the soul!
The sage searched
The sea, the rivers
Gazed at the sky
Sat in meditation
On mountain tops
In the caves carved out
By the creator.
His long curly hairs
His long beard
Went down to earth
But his quest
For the absolute truth
Stumbled in lethargy!
The atheist moved
With his knife
Of razor edged
Logic and reasoning
And on his way
Befriended the science
And both cut down
The bushes, the branches
But not the thick
Stumbling blocs of trees
That stood in the way!
They leaned on
The frail reasoning
And kept panting
And retreated!
Joseph interpreted
The dreams of kings
And warned of
The famine and rich harvest
When king saw
In hallucination
The lean and fatty
Cattles that graze!
The psychology attest
That all that are
The electro-magnetic field
That create mind and soul.
The death will bring
The end of both.
But the faith firm
In belief told
That pure soul will be seated
In paradise
And the impure
In the burning inferno.
But none crossed over
To the dark room
To change the clothes
Yet returned
To attest anyone!
