The Questions Of The Wild Poem by Sadie Moon

The Questions Of The Wild

Do you not hear my pain in the crashing of the waves
Smashing my heart upon the beach?

Do you not hear my screams in the wind
As it rips the tatters of my hope?

Do you not feel my tears in the showers of rain
As I weep within the quiet of my soul?

Do you not feel my desire in the heat of the sun
As my body aches with tenderness?

Did you see me in your dreams
Dancing, dancing for your delight?

Or did you think of me at all?
