The Quiet Poem by Prachi Gogte

The Quiet

ohh the quiet
standing still like a heavy curtain
like dust on an old carpet
like the photograph of a scream
like if time was to pause all of a sudden
like if noone responded to anything u said or did
like if no one felt ur touch

would you scream for help
n yearn for the lost causality

what if you were unable to loose ur energy
what if noone was there to absorb it in

what would u do
would u hold on to that precious moment
when in this chaotic reality
u could hear nothin except for you
when the universe seemed still except for you...

I don't like mispelled words or foreshortened ones in poetry as a rule..but, I can forgive it here, because of the talent factor..and the near to the mystical face of this writing which feels addictive.
