The Rain



Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump!
Rain beating on my windows
Like a drummer playing his drum
Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash!
Rain drops slowly making puddles
The sun is hiding behind the clouds
Dark shades of gray fill the sky
Afraid to show it's true inner beauty
And when things looks their worst
Sunshine comes at last
