The Rainbows End Poem by GORDON BUTCHERS

The Rainbows End

The chemistery of love we have between us
Can be oh so rare,
There can be no doubting
That love is really there.

I sit here alone thinking
How I love you through and through,
And wonder what you are doing now
Are you thinking of me too?

Because if there was a rainbow
Up there in the sky above,
And if I could walk to the end of that Rainbow
All I would want is to find your love.

As no pot of gold could take your place
And if your love just wasn't there,
I'd leave that pot of gold behind
Because all I would want is a love to share.

A love that binds us together
And our feelings intertwinned,
Was love always staring us in the face?
For don't they say that love is blind
