The Reckless Standpoint Poem by Sunny Chopra

The Reckless Standpoint

We try and seek mysterious
get oblivious somewhere along

All illusions deemed apposite
with time prove ever so wrong

Easy it's is to nurse grudges
ostensibly another censure

While mixing remedial potions
one digresses from final cure

What's seen as affliction
proves panacea in the end

Alliances we keep spurning
broken fences finally mend

It's not about proving oneself
try living up to other's stance

Each day be filled with magic
and eve with a bit of romance

Never late to make few amends
before most of it all is lost

No good will prove all reprisal
at huge penitent personal cost
