The Red Shoes Girl Poem by Sivvelyn Ohirun

The Red Shoes Girl

When I was a little boy,
I wonder how taste is joy,
My friend only toy.

The town so silent,
Like stand alone island,
I'm playing out hand.

Stranger roll to town,
I help them pack down,
And i saw doll of clown.

The doll belong to a girl,
Black shiny hair and curl,
white skin perfect like a pearl.

She have a red shoes,
and always red to choose,
the only one she like to use.

Now she always by my side,
We share a toy we share a ride,
at the wide field we fly the kite.

Red shoes girl bring happiness,
smile, joyous all about bless,
i can't forget the angelic face.

A promise for a paper crane,
but the evening comes with rain,
mama said stay and play with your paint.

Red shoes girl i s waiting,
standing next my window seeking,
are you still there standing?

After the rain,
i never saw her again,
and never be the same.

The white car is late,
mama said she's death...
I am feel so sad...

The rain sure makes her shiver,
before she fall into the river,
drowning and killed her liver.

I can't stop cry,
I want to pry my eye,
Because of me she die.

Her Mother hold me,
No one to blame you see,
Either no wanted it to be.

I lost friend that so dear,
I won't seek a cure...
another one just a fear.

I keep your red shoe,
Your favorite one to use,
and you always choose...

Now I'm play alone,
Ride alone,
Fly the kite alone,

But sometimes i saw you,
with your red shoe,
is that a clue?

Yearn never over,
So i send you a flower,
with your favorite red clover.

I know is hard,
Even we are apart,
But you always in my heart...
