The Red Umbrella Poem by Rhonda Baker

The Red Umbrella

Sometimes when life's troubles come pouring down
You just need someone to lift your feet up off the ground
Someone who'll take control and carry you away
Place you down in a clear and sunny day
When snug and secure in a warm embrace
Making no one else matter in this whole human race
Love can be an umbrella to shield you from the storm
Your lover, a place to keep you safe and warm

Thank you for these positive words, though I would like my red umbrella filled with money instead.
