The Relief Of Rain Poem by Sam Moore

The Relief Of Rain

Rating: 4.0

As I cried from within,
down came the rain,
beating on my skin,
washing away my pain,
which I knew was here to stay,
stubborn as a stain,
which would not go away

I knew what was at stake,
so patiently I waited...
as I knew the clouds would break,
then the rain faded
