The Rescue Poem by Maureen Alikor

The Rescue

When I sit and ponder
my legs romance the floor
as it becomes restless
and to fly, it desires

When I sit I wonder
what hope lies ahead
for a hopeless state
of a burdened heart

Then I hear a voice
whispering softly
calling my attention
telling me of tales of Love.
