The Rich Will Endure

The rich will endure
And so will the poor
Crawling on their bellies
Beneath the table of the rich
Grovelling for the crumbs
The rich allow to fall
But this recent human phenomenon
Know as the 'middle class'
Is shrinking and struggling
From paycheque to paycheque
And may one day disappear
Completely from society.
