The Riddle Of The Pyramids Poem by Kirstyanne SharkeyDaly

The Riddle Of The Pyramids

As Re travels across the skies
and another Pharaoh is laid to rest
his spirit will soar and fly
while they lay a sceptre across his chest.

The book he carries as a weapon
spells, enchantments and a guide
from evil he has protection
in the judgement hall, a feather on his side.

The fields of gold, a lifetime dream
working to appease gods old and new
and now he can finally join their team
to keep the Pharaoh’s path on Earth straight and true.
