The Riders Poem by Connor Whyte

The Riders

Rating: 5.0

I saw a beast rising up out of the sea. It had seven heads and ten horns, with ten crowns on its horns.

It was a monster wounded in battle but was healed and the men worshiped the dragon as a god. After the seventh seal was broken the horse rose out of a lake of fire with a rider as powerful as war. Armageddon was near and the earth will be a wasteland as the riders ride to stop angels and demons from massacre, A sacred covenant broke by the lamb of god causing mutilation of man and woman demons and angels alike.

As Gabrial marked the angels with ink of power turning them into soldiers of heaven, as raziel marked the blood of angel and men turning them into the Nephilim to fight the demons. The riders fought to keep the law at bay as the one and only Prince of darkness rose from his void to cast abomination on the earth and take the souls of the corrupt to build more strength to his legion and army of demons.

The sky was black and the moon was red no sight of god or the holy ghost to help aid this war. Matters were to be taking by the riders, War, Death, Pestilence, and Famine. As the power they hold together could cast the world into devastation or make it better. The war will not end quickly and souls will be lost and both angel and demon will bleed as god hides bound by the law that holds him, Lucifer disobeyed the laws and intervened where he should not be. St. Micheal is no match to the power of Lucifer and will be cast into hell where he will rise to be a demon.

Will God respond or will he follow his faith in obeying the law even as his brother seeks havoc and the destruction of the mortal beings. The battle will be a bloodbath and many will die.

Reminds me W.B Yeats' The Second Coming. Terrific in a word.
