The Ring Poem by Matt Miller

The Ring

Don't want you in my life, all it does is sting
You had all of my love, used my heart as a ring
I guess that ring grew old, so you sent it down the drain
Now you wear a new one, my heart's ring left in pain
That ring was meant for you, no other finger it could fit
So in that drain, forever it will sit
