The Ring Poem by Tony Mushrow

The Ring

The Ring.

I silently, slipped my gift of gold,
onto her fine third finger, left hand.
This circle of love, never-ending,
Like my love, for my love
Forever.
A beautiful band that speaks, I love you.
It rests on the vein of love, from hand to heart.
It says I am yours and you are mine.
Forever.
Like the circle of life, it binds us, it makes us.
It is the key that locks us together,
On our lifelong journey.
Forever.
It says more than I love you now,
And I will love you until death parts us.
It says I will love you,
Forever.
