'The Road Of Vice” Poem by Munia Khan

'The Road Of Vice”

I was walking down the road

Called ‘The Road of Vice’

It hugged me so tight

And kissed my feet thrice

My spine was shivered

But my blood was flamed

As my feet kept on walking

I was not to be blamed

Then I asked the road

Where it lead me to

It smiled for a while

And asked me to do

Then I started doing

Without even knowing

That was the first step

Of a sinner’s seed sowing

My senses encircled

With a feeling so nude

The call of the dark

Could no longer be rude

Then at last I reached

At the end of the road

Where only me and my vices

Were crying for an abode
