The Root Of David Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

The Root Of David

An expanse between the waters!
Yahweh blessed the Seventh Day and set it apart to be Holy;
But, let true love be multiplied to us all.

The lust of the flesh,
The lust of the eyes,
And of the pride of this world!
But, let true love be multiplied to us all.

The soldiers were marching in like the gossip in 'Nii Boi Town'! !
But, what do you know and, what yo you want to say?
For, how long can you teach these men and women?

I am living in a strange land without BBC and CNN!
So, don't be lukewarm to me and to the truth;
For, there are twenty-four seats around the throne.

People of this world!
Listen and learn from the truth always;
And be zealous always and be ready to repent from any wrong doings,
For, the measure of the wheat is now for a penny.

He is from the root of David and he is ready to open the scroll,
Roll, toll, moll, boll, poll, stroll, doll, loll, scroll! !
And, i am from the root of David to write out my mind;
So, try to understand my poems with much wisdom.
