The Rose Of Better Days Poem by elena winters

The Rose Of Better Days

Rating: 5.0

a mother working 2 jobs to support 3 kids after the death of her husband who was killed by a drive by shooting

hard working mother paying countless and countless of expensive bills
trying to make ends meet

put food on the table to feed her seeds which was barely enough

' i can't do it any more' she sobbed

one night after catching the bus home from work she saw something or should i say some one standing in the street.......... then in a blink of an eye his body slowly began to fade away

a tear fell from her eye

as she look down to the rose that appeared at her feet

those roses appear for a reason and to that mother it appeared for her not to give up on the world because she knows that her 'seeds' need more in life......than just minumwage jobs.....
