The Sad Soul's Dream Poem by Mariah Simpson

The Sad Soul's Dream

Sadness and greif
Won't be found on a leaf.
By the slice of a knife,
You end your own life.

Jump ten stories high,
To give death a try.
Point a gun to your head,
Pull the trigger, now your dead.

Death is a pleasure,
For suicides's measure.
Life is a mistake
That we should never take.

But the sad soul's dreams
Are never what one seems.
For life is a gift
That is always missed.

Words from someone who's been there or close to it. Never take life for granted...And stating the obvious... when it's over...it's over... there's no coming back. The real pain is left with those who love you, .. the what if's, the why's The grief, the shame, the never ending tears from forever saddened eyes. Mariah, your words come from your heart, no doubt... they touched me, inspired me. And I thank you for this...for sharing. Great Ink...The Sad Soul's Dream.; -) -Kelly.
