The Science Of Distance Poem by A. Jayaprakash Jayaprakash Panicker

The Science Of Distance

Who doesn’t like it for once
The science of distance?

It is the mystery behind it
That makes everyone like it.
Our particles are the closest
And the rest are the farthest.
No molecule fails to circumvent
All those ones who are distant.

For some it is a philosophy
For others it is decency.
If ever you find one say
‘It is sin to be closer by
han the ways of the other’
what you see is the equation
that governs this very science.

No one will ever realize or bear
The havoc this science may wreck
Unless one’s distance goes to destroy
The life and fortunes of the other.
Being able to be distant is fine
when it is with the ways of the divine.
In this fleeing stint of the mundane
The science of distance is a grave sin.

Fine are those sciences personal
If we are able to pursue them all.
