The Sea

the sea is our mother
life comes from the sea
the sea breathes
it is restless and vital
the tide rises and falls
it whispers to the shore
the sea is the oblivion
where men find humility
to gaze at the sea
is like meeting the gods
to bathe in the sea
is the ultimate baptism
the loneliness and tears
of all men fill the sea
