I think of those watching the same scenes
at the same time
for the first time

jotting down 'tired and tried' looks good on paper
but cannot fully explain to the reader what I'm putting down
i can fill a notebook with truths that have cut
directly below my eye

If I could reveal all that I feel for her
the avalanche of good
would kill me down
just

when I wake
I promise to tell everyone I know how I feel
and not to hold anything back
whether they warm to it or not

to make my plans with her
and when the time nears
I dig my way to a proper excuse

i feel you don't want to be because you feel as if I am there and you have no voice
