The Show Must Go On Poem by Lauren Renee'

The Show Must Go On

I walk through the halls at school
A smile plastered to my face
I smile and wave at every fool
And never do I dropp my pace

As I chitchat throughout the day
And laugh and walk and smile
I keep hoping someone will say
You need to stop all this wile

But nobody seems to detect
No one seems to care
That I am no where near perfect
And under my smile is a glare

So I keep up my act
As every actress must do
While I know that for a fact
That cuts tomorrow will be new
