The Sick Eve Poem by Akhtar Jawad

The Sick Eve

Rating: 5.0

The Mountain of Rahmah,
Where Eve met Adam,
I went there alone,
After sometime,
She climbed the mountain,
And reached to me,
An Eve can gather courage,
To meet her Adam,
Anywhere.
Unfavorable conditions cannot stop an Eve.

The poet has made a mythological event come alive on earth during a pilgrimage and became a witness to it (the meeting of Adam & Eve) . Thanks a lot, Akhtar Jawad Sahab. To meet her Adam, Unfavorable conditions cannot stop an Eve.

So nice to see Adam and Eve sitting together! Though Eve's face looks tired, there is a glitter in her eyes on having joined Adam! Ha.... ha!
