The Sick Nest Poem by mark bennett

The Sick Nest

Rating: 0.5

my gift to the world is this blackened eye this blackened eye has seen rainbows in the darkness and stared into the midnight sun. the dim visions beheld will shine with the telling of the tale of my disguise- a misguided angel taking the elevator as a halo appears and disappears; then, reappears again... a flashing neon hallucination complete with social graces.(and disgraces.) sideshow charity- and faithful slobs bobbing for apples in the name of God to keep the lights on, when darkness dials their number. its a messageless beep on the answering machine.its a messageless beep on the answering machine.its a messageless beep on the answering machine.
