The Silent Cries Poem by Moses Samandar

The Silent Cries

I cry silently
No-one hears my passion
No-one hears my thoughts
All I can do is write
Misery is all I see
Poverty is all I see
Life is devastating
My mum cries for what
If she experienced half of what I suffered
She would not live, god forbid
No-one understands the misery that happens behind these glasses
I cry silently
Take these broken glasses
Angel
Rise me above
Take me from life
Grant me a new one
I can’t hold it any longer
No-one understands this misery
The only hope I have is achievement
Is it a matter of death?
My liver hurts
My head hurts
My eyes hurt
I am half blind
I am ill
But I have one hope
To achieve
No-one can stop me!
