The Silent Migration Poem by Imam Setiaji Ronoatmojo

The Silent Migration

It is still that swallowed up the sun sets
in the sky
There was no one who got out
There may be with deft lines birds
Moved from one place to another
Silent migration
The tree was ranked the
clouds depending on
Such as paper lantern
in the large houses
Look far to go there
Skyline
No longer appear
There’s to reach but untouched by
hand
And the birds fly
Freedom and apprehension
We couldn’t have gone by
the sun
Remained hidden in the poem
We understand
Such as the beautiful songs will not be
wiped out in the day by rain
