The Simple Things Poem by Natalie Dirks

The Simple Things

Rating: 5.0

Driving down the mountain
Hair blown all awry
Cool in the creek at noon
Blue, blue sky

Apple bars for breakfast
Warm friendship's company
Crisp sheets to crawl between at night
Contentment - first degree.

Oh such happy memories
Of friends and flowers fair
Of country life so blissful
No pain or sadness there.
