The Singer Poem by Niken Kusuma Wardani

The Singer

Dim light
Hope bright

Standing with the slow beat
Gaze locked at the corner
Every word echoes in sweet note
Lust infected sanity

Dim light
Hope bright

The air embraces the look
Swept by the smooth shape
Wrapped in limited fine yarn
Singing in tenderness

Dim light
Hope bright

Step closer in faint smile
Shiver in delight reaching out
Tease to dance as it came
Left the rest in a hurry

Dim light
Hope bright

The love and the romance
Holding passion incessantly
Universe melt to nothing
So the song end… but not the dream
