The Solitary 'Bureau Puller' In The City Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

The Solitary 'Bureau Puller' In The City

The burglar kills two birds with one stone.
He lassos the cupboard and pulls alone.
Noise doesn't disturb those in sleep
and he loots the gold they keep.
The clean locker makes all not to moan.

A few hours the cops took for the robber to nab
as he was the only one of his tribe to grab
the cash and jewels only on a Thursday
without harming and making people bray.

Every time they put him into the jail,
‘No witness' easily takes him out in bail.
'The thieves making heists shouldn't be single.
Share your expertise with the new ones to mingle'.
