The Sound Of Fullness Poem by Namrata Nath

The Sound Of Fullness

Rating: 3.5

She sang that song in solitude
That came out like a sweet dark secret
Out of the flute of an unknown flautist
A merry little tune it was!

The merry winds sang it
The dark clouds hummed it
The naughty urchins shouted it
The fragrant flowers whispered it
A merry little tune it was!

A distant memory
Lost in an unknown street
In the lost town of happiness
A sweet little memory it was!
