Poet's Notes about The Poem

'The Sound of Guilt' was inspired by an annoying fly buzzing around in my room. I was writing other works of poetry at the time but I couldn't concentrate at all. So, I decided to write a poem about it and voilà! The birth of 'The Sound of Guilt'. i hope that with this little story about how my poem came to be lets people know that poems can be inspired and be about just about anything! :)

Poem of the Day

poet Ambrose Bierce

Weather
by Ambrose Bierce

Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see,
And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as any one can be--
