The Sound Of Heaven Poem by Edward Webb

The Sound Of Heaven

A steepled church
hides the Bell,
that silent,
stood prepared,
suddenly ears
hear erupt,
as it swells the air.

as though excited jumping up,
frantic melodic bong,
exhausted out
the burst drew short
rests silent hung in prayer
