The Sssnake By The Lake Poem by Jack E and Rosie Blennim

The Sssnake By The Lake

I am a sssnake, and I live by a lake,
I'm not interesssted in talkssss,
Nor going for walksss,
For I am the sssnake, who livesss by the lake.

I watch humansss run,
Jump and play in the sssun,
But it'sss nothing to me,
When you giggle with glee,
For I am the sssnake, who livesss by the lake.

I can take a ssswim,
And ssslither with eassse,
Climb the odd tree, And I hisss when I sssneeze.
I can ssswallow my lunch,
With jussst one munch,
I dissslike com-pan-y,
It meansss nothing to me.
For I am the sssnake, who livesss by the lake.

I play my own gamesss,
Live life my own way.
I come when I pleassse,
Then ssslip away with eassse.

And now you know who I am,
How I eat, live and play,
I have sssaid quite enough, ssso I bid you good-day.
For I am the sssnake, the King of the lake.
