The Stage Is Bare (A Michael Jackson Tribute) Poem by David Harris

The Stage Is Bare (A Michael Jackson Tribute)

Rating: 5.0

The stage is bare
only a microphone stands alone.
A part of our life is gone;
no, more we hear the words and music
that once so tenderly graced our ears.
A gulf remains for the life not there,
now gone forever from our lives.
Only a memory of what had been
and what had filled so many empty souls.

The stage is bare
and all that remains is a ghost
of what had been.
A haunting memory of someone’s life
before they left the stage of life.
No more now the suffering of mortal pain,
they left with an always-remembered name.
Their star still shines
in all that remember a life that once was.

A fitting tribute for an extraordinary musician: a lost talent that the world will grieve. An empty stage is cold and lonely for us, and lets hope he is out of pain and happy once again. 10 Karin Anderson

Hello David! yes it feels like that now that we have had to say our final goodbye to our dear Michael. He was a huge part of a great deal of peoples lives. He brought so many generations joy and together, and now the stage does indeed, feel so bare without him. May his legend never cease. A suitable tribute...I can hear the ecoes of silence. Tai Tai, sorry to have missed you at stratford x
