The Storm Poem by Whispering Rose

The Storm

Rating: 5.0

When the storm comes around
Taking those who have no one to hold
I was lonely and scared
The storm thought I deserved
To be taken away
From where I wanted to stay
I walked along with the storm
For sometime I was strong
And yet I wanted to go back
To the life I once had
I was brought by the storm
To what used to be my home
But my home had changed when I was gone
It’s now somewhere I don’t belong
Now I want again to be taken by the storm
For it has become my home
